The most common types of exams are described below:
telc German B2-C1 Medicine
The exam telc Deutsch B2-C1 Medizin is a scaled exam at the competence levels B2 and C1. It is aimed at people who want to work in a medical profession in Germany or are in the process of obtaining professional recognition and would like to prove their German language skills for that. The demanding contents are geared towards the upper range of B2 and C1. The lexis in particular is strongly oriented towards the everyday work of doctors in hospitals and practices.
telc Deutsch B2-C1 Medizin tests the professional German language skills of doctors from abroad and leads to the acquisition of a license (Approbation) to practice medicine in Germany.
telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule
The telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule examination is designed for people who would like to study at a German university or college, are already studying or working in an academic profession and would like to prove their German language skills for that. All German universities have been recognizing the certificate telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule since 2016. As a certified telc Centre of Excellence, we offer this examination regularly.
telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule tests university-related German language skills at a high level. With the telc certificate C1 Hochschule, you prove that you are linguistically fit to study at a German-speaking university.
telc Deutsch C1 / telc Deutsch B2-C1 Beruf
The exams telc Deutsch C1 and telc Deutsch B2-C1 Beruf are aimed at people who wish to have their foreign (usually academic) degree recognized, who are looking for highly qualified employment in Germany and who would like to prove their German language skills for that.
telc Deutsch C1 tests general German language skills at an advanced level.
telc Deutsch B2-C1 Beruf offers a scaled format over two CEFR levels and tests job-related German language skills at these levels.
telc Deutsch B1-B2 Pflege
The telc Deutsch B1-B2 Pflege examination is designed for people who wish to have their foreign qualification recognized or who have a recognized qualification in a nursing profession and must demonstrate B1 or B2 knowledge of the German language in order to practice this profession in Germany. The contents of the examination cover the upper range of B1 and B2.

telc Deutsch B2 / telc Deutsch B1-B2 Beruf

telc Deutsch B2+ Beruf is a vocationally oriented exam which tests your job-related German language skills.
telc Deutsch B1-B2 Beruf offers a scaled format over two CEFR levels and tests job-related German language skills at these levels.

The exams telc Deutsch B1 and telc Deutsch B1+ Beruf are aimed at people who wish to become naturalized in Germany or who require proof for professional purposes.
Zertifikat Deutsch / telc Deutsch B1 serves as proof of your language skills for naturalization in Germany.
We recommend telc Deutsch B1+ Beruf as an examination for professional purposes. Therefore, it is more demanding than telc Deutsch B1.
German Test for Immigrants A2-B1 (DTZ)
The Deutsch-Test für Zuwanderer (DTZ) A2-B1 is the right exam for you if you need proof of your language skills for naturalization in Germany. BAMF integration courses conclude with this test. However, it can also be taken by all other interested people.
telc Deutsch A2 / telc Deutsch A2+ Beruf
The exams telc Deutsch A2 and telc Deutsch A2+ Beruf are aimed at people who need general proof of their language skills or proof for professional purposes.
We recommend telc Deutsch A2+ Beruf as an examination for professional purposes. It is more demanding than telc Deutsch A2. You can make yourself understood in a simple manner in typical situations of everyday professional life, make simple telephone calls, talk about your work and write short messages.
