Course Content
In small groups (5-10 people), general and specialist language skills are taught in a medical context (with a focus on physiotherapy content).
This course deals with topics such as:
informal communication with patients (anamnesis, initial consultation, advice, etc.)
professional communication with colleagues (handovers, substitutions, written exchanges, e.g. by email)
the formulation and documentation of patient-oriented goals and measures or various clinical pictures from different specialist areas that you frequently encounter as a physiotherapist
In addition, B2 grammar relevant to the profession is practiced and A2-B1 grammar is repeated in order to consolidate general linguistic confidence, which also plays an important role in the field of physiotherapy.
The special module concludes with the cumpolsory professional language exam (Fachsprachenprüfung/FSP), for which you will be intensively prepared in the language course.
