Overview

Are you aiming for a job that requires general and technical language skills at C1 level? Would you like to improve your German language skills in order to gain a better foothold in professional life? Then register for our C1 basic module!

You will complete the language course with the Deutsch-Test für den Beruf C1 (DTB), which certifies your language level C1 according to the CEFR.

Participation Requirements

You can attend the course if you:

have German language skills at level B2 according to the CEFR

require language level C1 for professional recognition or for access to the profession

are seeking an appropriate language level for highly qualified, non-regulated professions

are registered as jobseekers and/or receive unemployment benefits

This course covers important topics from the world of work:

communication in the workplace

job search

training and further education

legal matters

products

advertising and consumer behavior

companies and economic regions in Germany

cooperation and networking

interculturality and international cooperation

dealing and learning with digital media

The basic module C1 ends with the final examination telc Deutsch B2/C1 Beruf or telc Deutsch C1.
