Overview

With our state-subsidized German courses in the special module “Healthcare professions” (nursing, geriatric nursing, healthcare, paediatric nursing or maternity assistance), you can optimally prepare for the language test required for your professional recognition.

If you would like to have your completed training in a healthcare profession recognized in Germany or if you are currently completing training for a healthcare profession abroad and would like to work in Germany afterwards, then this course is just right for you.

Participation Requirements

You can attend the course if you:

have a certificate of general or subject-specific German language proficiency at language level B1

have submitted or would like to submit an application for recognition or examination of your knowledge in nursing and health care, geriatric care, pediatric nursing or maternity care to the respective authorities

have completed training in nursing and healthcare, geriatric care, pediatric nursing or maternity care in your home country

are already working as a nursing assistant or assistant in a healthcare profession

would like to work as a nursing and healthcare assistant or maternity assistant after your training

Course Content

This course deals with topics such as:

informal communication with patients and relatives (admission, counseling, etc.)

professional communication with colleagues and doctors (handover, prescriptions, expert opinions, care planning and documentation, etc.)

Our Teaching Concept

Our face-to-face courses for the nursing professions are based on a comprehensive curriculum, which we have repeatedly adapted over the years to meet the current challenges of the nursing profession. We use specially developed teaching materials to ensure individual and targeted learning.

The courses conclude with the telc Deutsch B1/B2 Pflege language test required for professional recognition, for which you will be intensively prepared here.

We employ practicing nursing professionals with many years of professional experience to supplement our teaching. Our specialist lecturers provide participants with authentic insights into the German way of working and prepare them intensively for the Fachsprachenprüfung and the complex communicative requirements of everyday nursing work in conversation simulations.
